Most project covers and logos are hosted by LaunchBox and GamesDB, at images.launchbox-app.com and gamesdb-images.launchbox.gg. They are used only to identify each project in the catalog. The artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and listing them here does not grant any permission beyond what those owners allow.
Covers and logos made by the Nolde team
Some covers and placeholders were created by the Nolde team, so no third-party rights apply to them. This includes the generic placeholder image used for projects without artwork.
Rights holders
Game names, characters, logos and other artwork that appear in the catalog belong to their respective owners, including Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, Capcom, Konami and others. Nolde is not affiliated with any of them.
Fonts
Inter by Rasmus Andersson and Space Grotesk by Florian Karsten, both released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, served through Google Fonts.
Software and libraries
- marked, a Markdown parser used by the blog, released under the MIT license. Served from cdnjs.
- DOMPurify, used to clean blog content before it is shown, released under the Apache 2.0 and MPL 2.0 licenses. Served from cdnjs.
- Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare KV, which host the site and store the community votes.
- GitHub, which stores the site's source code.
Design
The layout of the catalog takes inspiration from Modrinth, and the project page's cover-and-logo header takes inspiration from the Steam store. All colors, components and code were written for Nolde.
Projects
The projects listed in the catalog are the work of their own communities. Nolde does not develop them and only links to their official sources. Thanks to every author and contributor who makes these projects possible. If you think you should be credited differently, or want a project corrected or removed, please use the contact form.
